The Fender California Standard Redondo CE Spruce Fiesta Red acoustic guitar is part of the California Standard series. This series combines classic acoustic guitar shapes with characteristic Fender® design elements. The Jazzmaster® headstock is particularly striking, giving the instrument a unique and unmistakable look.
With its dreadnought body and cutaway, the Redondo™ CE not only offers a powerful sound volume, but also easy access to the higher registers. Whether powerful chord playing or sensitive fingerpicking - this model adapts to a wide variety of styles.
The dreadnought body of the Fender California Standard Redondo CE Spruce Fiesta Red acoustic guitar develops a loud, room-filling tone. The laminated spruce top provides a clear response, while the laminated Sapele back and sides complement the sound. The fully laminated construction makes the instrument robust and resistant to environmental influences.
The body is edged with ivory binding and has an inlaid dual-ring rosette. The 1-ply pickguard in ivory blends harmoniously into the overall picture. The durable gloss polyurethane finish gives the guitar a smooth, high-gloss surface and underlines the eye-catching Fiesta Red color.
The neck made of okoume in a slim "C" profile ensures pleasant playing comfort. With a scale length of 25.5" (648 mm), 20 vintage frets and a fingerboard radius of 12" (304.8 mm), the guitar offers optimum conditions for comfortable fingering and precise playing. The fingerboard and bridge are made of oiled walnut.
The closed die-cast tuners ensure precise tuning. A Micarta nut with a width of 1.6875" (42.86 mm) and a dual-action truss rod complete the sophisticated design. The instrument is factory-fitted with phosphor bronze strings in the .011-.052 set.
A special highlight of the Fender California Standard Redondo CE Spruce Fiesta Red acoustic guitar is the built-in Fender electronics. The amplified sound can be individually adjusted using the volume and tone controls. The integrated electronic tuner with on/off switch and low-battery indicator provides additional safety during live performances.
