The Fender Dhani Harrison Uke Turquoise is an expression of musical versatility and creative identity. Developed in close collaboration with musician Dhani Harrison, this signature tenor ukulele combines high-quality materials, modern technology and personal design elements to create an instrument that not only sounds great, but also tells a story. With its eye-catching Turquoise finish, loving engravings and bespoke inlays, this ukulele is far more than just a musical instrument - it is an invitation to cross musical boundaries.
Thanks to a solid Ovangkol top, sound-optimized electronics and a compact body with 3/4 depth, the Dhani Harrison ukulele offers the perfect combination of portable format and assertive sound. It is ideal for both acoustic playing and live performances - and comes with a matching gig bag.
As the son of George Harrison and a successful multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer himself, Dhani Harrison has forged his very own musical path. Whether in the studio, on festival stages or as a film score composer - his creative versatility shapes his music as much as his instruments. The ukulele has been part of his musical development from the very beginning - and with the Fender Dhani Harrison Uke, he is now launching a signature model on the market that bears his artistic signature.
In the Turquoise finish, the instrument combines visual elegance with high functionality and excellent sound performance - designed for musicians who place as much value on expression as on authenticity.
The ukulele has a tenor construction with 3/4 body depth, making it particularly comfortable to play while still offering a full sound spectrum. The solid ovangkol top provides projection and warmth, while the back and sides made of the same wood round off the sound and visually impress with their beautiful grain.
The Nato neck has a satin finish and sits comfortably in the hand. The walnut fingerboard with 19 frets features individually designed "cloud" inlays that give the instrument a personal touch. In addition, the back of the body features fine engravings based on Dhani Harrison's symbolism, which also make the instrument visually unique.
With a nut width of 35 mm and a scale length of 432 mm, the ukulele offers a comfortable playing feel for both chords and melody lines. The bone nut and bridge inlay contribute to improved sound transmission, while the open-back geared tuners ensure precise and stable tuning.
The instrument is finished with an abalone soundhole rosette and cream-colored binding, both of which underline the high-quality look. The matt satin finish protects the surface and gives the ukulele an elegant, silky look.
An outstanding feature of the Dhani Harrison ukulele is the integrated Fender Designed Uke electronics. This not only has a volume control, but also a tone control - a rare feature on ukuleles that flexibly adjusts the tone to amplifiers, PA systems or recording situations.
This makes the ukulele not only suitable for acoustic playing, but also the ideal choice for live performances, studio recordings or street music. The warm basic sound is also amplified and can be specifically shaped - for more expression and control when playing.
With the Dhani Harrison Uke Turquoise, Fender is launching a signature ukulele that combines musical aspirations, design aesthetics and personal history in one instrument. Anyone looking for a high-quality tenor ukulele with character that stands out from the crowd both visually and tonally will find it here.
It is perfect for ambitious musicians, creative songwriters and live performers who value professional sound, high-quality workmanship and special details. With the included custom gig bag, it is always ready for transportation - whether on tour, in the studio or in the living room.
