In 1969, Jimmy Page left a lasting mark on the development of pop music with his opening riff of "Good Times Bad Times". And he did it with just one guitar: his Fender® Telecaster. The Fender Jimmy Page Mirror Telecaster is a tribute to the legendary instrument.
The Jimmy Page Mirror Telecaster with two-piece body and lacquer finish is equipped with two Jimmy Page Custom '59 Tele® single-coils. They deliver the full, sweeping tone that inspired Jimmy's brilliant licks on the first Led Zeppelin album. The custom maple neck in an oval-C profile carries a 7.25" radius rosewood slab fingerboard with 21 vintage style frets and plays wonderfully smooth. The top-loader bridge guides the strings either through the body or horizontally through the bridge, creating a round, warm sound with less string tension, facilitating expressive bending.
Since Jimmy Page himself was involved in the development, his Telecaster electric guitar naturally got some very personal identifying marks. For example, the Jimmy Page signature on the headstock and the custom chrome neckplate. Jimmy says of his beloved Telecaster, "I really personalized it - it's a magical guitar."
