Description

The Fender Montecito Tenor-Ukulele is made of Koa and sounds as you would expect from its luxurious appearance: warm, deep and full without being pushy. The solid top allows optimal resonance with long sustain. Every note sounds balanced and clear. Blue-green abalone bindings on the top, fingerboard and back form a subtle contrast to the earthy Koa shade. The strings are not knotted at the bridge, but only threaded. The bridge insert and saddle are made of real bone, which supports clean intonation. Like the bindings, the rosette consists of iridescent abalone inlays. The closed vintage mechanisms in rows of 4 on the Tele® headstock round off the typical Fender design.
