The Player II Jazzmaster embodies pure timeless Fender charm. Under the hood, it's ultra-modern. Every detail is designed for smooth playability. The modern C-profile neck with a silky urethane finish on the back has a rosewood slab fingerboard with a 9.5" radius, gently rounded edges and 22 medium jumbo frets. The classic alder body is optionally available in the popular timeless Fender finishes - or in completely new historical vintage colors that Fender has freshly retrieved from the archive. Player Series Alnico V Jazzmaster single coils deliver crystalline, bright highs, harmonious mids and crisp basses. The neck pickup sounds glassy and bell-like, while the bridge pickup contributes a large portion of presence and bite. The pickups can be combined to create different sounds using the 3-way switch. The strings run over a Jazzmaster bridge with floating tremolo and six Mustang® string saddles. ClassicGear™ tuners keep the tuning stable.
