The Player II Telecaster embodies timeless Fender charm with a design steeped in history, but under the hood it's ultra-modern. Every detail is designed for smooth playability. The modern C-profile neck with a silky urethane finish at the back has a maple or rosewood slab fingerboard with a 9.5" radius, gently rounded edges and 22 medium jumbo frets. The body is available in classic alder, chambered ash or chambered mahogany. You can also choose between the popular timeless Fender finishes and brand new vintage colors that Fender has just pulled from the archives. Player Series Alnico V Tele® single-coils deliver crystal-clear highs, musical mids and crisp lows. The neck pickup sounds bell-smooth, the bridge pickup gives you the coveted twang. The pickups can be combined to create different sounds using the 3-way switch. The strings run over a bridge with six bent steel string saddles. ClassicGear™ tuners keep the tuning stable.
