A Seymour Duncan SH-5 Duncan Custom humbucker sits in the semi-hollow Tom DeLonge Starcaster offset body, producing the right sound for powerful chords and heavy riffs. But the Tom DeLonge Starcaster is not only loud and powerful, it also has a sophisticated inner workings. Instead of an opulent collection of knobs, there is just a single volume control with an integrated treble bleed circuit. This means that your sound retains the full treble spectrum at any volume with bell-like, bitingly throaty "short-before-breakup" timbres. The C-profile neck has a 12" rosewood fingerboard with medium jumbo frets and provides a modern, comfortable playing feel. Further highlights: Fender locking tuners with maximum tuning stability, freely adjustable bridge with stop tailpiece for individual setup and additional tuning stability. The neck plate and the back of the headstock each feature artwork personally designed by DeLonge.
