With the Fender Tone Master Deluxe Reverb Blonde, Fender is launching a modern, technologically advanced version of its legendary Deluxe Reverb amp from the 1960s - while remaining true to the vintage spirit. This limited edition version combines iconic design, authentic sound and contemporary technology to create a powerful, ultra-lightweight guitar amp that is ideal for stage, studio and rehearsal room.
Instead of a traditional tube power amplifier, a 100-watt transistor power amplifier works inside, which simulates the behavior of a 22-watt tube amp down to the smallest detail with the help of the latest DSP technology - including natural saturation, dynamic headroom and the typical warm response. Weighing just 11.5 kg, the Tone Master Deluxe Reverb is around 60 % lighter than its historical model - with a full sound and vintage feel.
For decades, the name Fender has stood for unmistakable sound, iconic amplifiers and guitar classics like no other. With the Tone Master series, Fender is taking its vintage amplifiers to a new technological level - while remaining true to its sound DNA. The Tone Master amps deliver the authentic tone of the famous tube classics - but with all the benefits of digital modeling technology.
The Tone Master Deluxe Reverb Blonde is a prime example of this approach. It combines classic looks and usability with sonic precision and modern features such as line-out with impulse response simulation, power reduction and lightweight cabinet construction.
At its heart is a digital modeling preamp design that perfectly emulates the sound and behavior of a classic 22-watt tube amp. The transistor power amplifier with 100 watts of power not only offers enormous volume reserves, but also a transparent, responsive sound that is deceptively similar to the original - even at the limits.
Also on board is a 12" Celestion Neo Creamback speaker, which is known for its warm mid-range presence, soft treble and rich bass range. The use of neodymium makes the speaker significantly lighter than traditional ceramic or alnico models, without sacrificing the typical vintage sound.
The amp has two channels(normal and vibrato), each with high and low input. The classic reverb and vibrato effects are not simply simulated, but are an integral part of the DSP architecture - with the aim of fully reproducing the original sound characteristics of these popular effects.
A special highlight is the variable power switch, which can be used to simulate the behavior of the output stage at different "saturation levels". This allows various tube amp characteristics (e.g. 22 W, half power, etc.) to be authentically simulated - without loss of volume and with full control.
For professional use, the amp offers an XLR output with integrated impulse response simulation (IR), which digitally reproduces the behavior of a real Fender loudspeaker with miking. This allows the amp to be played directly into the mixing console or audio interface - without speakers and without additional microphones. Perfect for recording and quiet live setups.
It is controlled via the clearly laid out front panel with classic controls for volume, treble, bass, reverb, speed and intensity. The supplied dual footswitch allows the reverb and vibrato to be switched on and off.
The housing is made of solid but particularly lightweight pine wood and has an elegant blonde cream finish - a tribute to the early Fender amps. With compact dimensions of 70 x 58 x 33 cm and a weight of just 11.5 kg, the amp is also ideal for mobile use.
The Fender Tone Master Deluxe Reverb Blonde combines classic aesthetics with innovative technology and impresses with its uncompromisingly authentic vintage sound - without any tubes. Musicians who love the iconic Fender tone but don't want to do without modern features such as low weight, direct out with IR and digital power control will find the perfect tool here.
Whether in the studio, on stage or at home - this amp offers everything a tone aesthete's heart desires: warm clean sound, dynamic playing behavior, true-to-original effects and maximum flexibility. A real Fender statement for the future of vintage tone.
