The Fender Vintera II Road Worn '60s Telecaster in Burgundy Mist Metallic brings back the unmistakable character of the early 60s - in an instrument that pays homage to the golden Fender era in both sound and appearance. The alder body is finished with a Road Worn® nitrocellulose lacquer finish that has been carefully aged. Delicate signs of use, a semi-matt finish and subtle imperfections give the guitar a natural vintage look that is otherwise only known from instruments that have been played for decades. The result: a familiar, well-rehearsed feel from the very first note.
The maple neck in the early '60s "C" profile sits perfectly in the hand. Combined with the 7.25" radiusrosewood fingerboard and vintage tall frets, the result is a smooth, precise feel - perfect for chords, slides and single-note lines with character.
Equipped with two vintage-style '60s single-coil Tele® pickups, the Telecaster delivers its characteristic, wiry tone: clear in the highs, focused in the mids, and with that famous twang that has shaped generations of guitarists.
