Description

The J-Standard Iliad Dark Evolution is a new offshoot of the popular J-Standard series. FGN put a lot of emphasis on the Dark Evolution to combine multifaceted sounds with an optimized playability and an exciting design. A maple neck with rounded neck base in combination with the compound radius fingerboard made of granadillo and the 24 jumbo frets allows effortless playing even in the higher registers. The FGN FB-S05 bridge with string-through body gives the Dark Evolution excellent resonance and vibration characteristics, while the GOTOH SG381-07 Magnum Lock tuners boast absolute tuning stability. The factory Fishman Fluence Modern Alnico/Ceramic pickups provide a respectable sound spectrum on their own, but when paired with a 3-way switch, the J-Standard Iliad Dark Evolution offers versatile and enchanting tones that open the guitar up to many genres.
