Clarett USB raises the bar in terms of sound and doesn't have to hide from twice as expensive interfaces. The Clarett USB series uses specially developed high-performance microphone preamps with extremely low ambient noise (-128 dB EIN), an ultra-linear design and very low distortion. This results in a clear, open and transparent sound that accurately captures every detail of the original signal. The dynamic range of up to 119 dB can now be enjoyed on any Mac® or PC with a USB 2.0 port (or better). Decades of experience in the development of analog circuits coupled with 24-bit/192 kHz A/D and D/A converters result in an outstanding signal path. Your recordings will sound better than ever.

Clarett 2Pre is an audio interface with 10 inputs and 4 outputs. The two mic/line/instrument inputs allow you to record anything from condenser microphones to super loud pickups without unwanted distortion. Thanks to the Gain Halo level indicators, you can easily set the correct input level. The ADAT input allows you to expand Clarett 2PRE USB by a further eight channels, for example by combining it with our multi-channel microphone preamplifier Clarett OctoPre. The two analog monitor outputs are equipped with Anti-Thump technology, plus a headphone output with level control, two line outputs and a MIDI input and output.

Thanks to the two microphone preamps with Air mode, the input impedance, clarity and frequency response of the original ISA microphone preamps are available at the touch of a button. Clarett 2PRe USB connects to a Mac® or PC via standard USB and USB Type-C™ cables. Both cables are included so you can start recording right away. Thanks to the super-low latency, it is possible to use amp simulations and plug-in effects in real time.

The easy-to-use control software for Mac®, PC, iPad®, iPhone® or iPod touch® is perfect for configuring routing and monitor mixes. Included in delivery is additional software from XLN Audio, Focusrite, Softube, Ableton® and Loopmasters.
