Saffire-LE is a highquality, compact and flexible audio interface with Firewire linking at
recording DAWs at an attractive price.
At the same time 4 similar Eingänge are available, 2 of them are
high-quality Focusrite preamplifier, 2 further are handle line
inputs for instruments or line levels usable. Additonal are
parallel usable 2 further inputs in the SPDIF format.
6 symmetrical similar jack-outputs can be used for outplay-ways
spend alternatively signals in the AV3-format (DVD lotteries in
Surround). A further adjustable handle exit allows the direct
connection of headphones.
The Saffire-LE becomes with the steering wheel often commodity
SaffireControl-LE the comfortable routingtool, because the monitor- and headphone-outplay-ways will be managed by WinXP/OSX
on easiest way with playback and latency-free takingsignal.
Inputs
frontside-inputs 1 and 2 with XLR-microphone-input and jack-input. The jack-input can be switched for line- or instruments.
If a jack-input will be used, the according XLR-input inactivates itself automatically. The gaincontroler and phantom-powering-switches are
on the frontside.
Inputs 3 and 4 for linegauge or instruments are on the backside. Also the 2-channel SPDIF-input as Cinch-socket.
outputs
The analog outputs 1 to 6 are as symetrically jacks on the backside. Signals at the outputs 3-4 are parallel on the fronside-
headphoneconnectionsocket with volumecontroler. The monitorvolumecontrolerdecidedly the gauge of the outputs 1-2. The digital Cinch-output
can also expend 2 channels in the SPDIF-format and supports AC3 and DTS formates for the replay from DVD for surroundusings.
The Saffire-LE can be supplie with current like all Focusrite Saffire models per
Firewire-conduction. Alternative is a connection for an extern power pack ( in the scope of delivery) available,if it is
no power pack- supply about Firewire possible.
software
Passing on and detailed signals can be mixed comfortably and without any delay, for all playing-arts put fader to disposal.
