Description

The Focusrite Scarlett Octopre Dynamic is an 8-channel microphone preamplifier with up to 192 kHz and ADAT interfaces. Scarlett OctoPre Dynamic also features one-button compression and 8 channels with D/A converters. It is equipped with the latest Scarlett preamps and has microphone and line inputs as well as two instrument inputs on the front. The new preamps work very cleanly, offer a lot of gain reserves, very low background noise and switchable pads for additional headroom.

Additional features of Scarlett OctoPre Dynamic (compared to Scarlett OctoPre):

• Eight channels with 24-bit D/A precision converters, 119 dB dynamic range
• D/A converters are fed from the two ADAT inputs, providing eight channels of up to 192 kHz
• Analog line outputs can be addressed by the D/A converters and microphone preamps, providing eight additional outputs when mixing and recording
• One-button compression for easy control of input signal
• Fully analog soft-knee compression can be controlled with a single knob, providing a powerful and natural sound that preserves transients
• "More" button, the ratio can be doubled and the compression can be used more than one kind of "effect
