Description

The Fostex PX-5 is a professional near field monitor that combines the latest technology and innovative components with sophisticated design.

The foundation is provided by a fast 5.2" Crimson woofer with a membrane material made of a resin-coated aramid fibre fabric. The urethane film laminated 1" polyester fiber tweeter delivers smooth highs. The accurate and phase-coherent interaction of both components is achieved via the innovative digital FIR filter, which offers numerous setting options. With 35W(LF) / 18W(HF), the digital output stage offers sufficient power reserves and ensures a fast and powerful driver drive.

Settings such as a 44-step level control, RF level and LF rolloff are made via an endless knob with LED display. The Auto Standby function (can be deactivated) complies with the latest energy-saving regulations.
