The Furch Blue OM-CM acoustic guitar is the perfect introduction to the world of all-solid premium acoustic guitars. As part of the attractively priced Blue series, it offers everything that Furch stands for: high-quality materials, modern production technologies, outstanding sound characteristics and a discreet, natural appearance. The OM body shape (Orchestra Model) delivers a balanced sound with plenty of transparency and dynamics - ideal for fingerstyle, singer-songwriters or acoustic accompaniment.
With its solid Western Red cedar top and African mahogany body, the Blue OM-CM offers a warm, mid-range basic character with a slight bass emphasis. This combination ensures a round, melodious sound and a distinctive response. The open-pored varnish supports the natural resonance of the woods and makes a decisive contribution to the lively sound development of the instrument.
Like all Furch models, the Furch Blue OM-CM acoustic guitar also benefits from the exclusive voicing process. The shape and thickness of each top is individually adjusted to achieve an optimum balance between volume, tone structure and vibration behavior. This precise fine-tuning gives the guitar its crystal-clear, detailed tone, which is outstanding in both solo and ensemble playing.
The construction concept is complemented by the patented Furch CNR-System® - a neck reinforcement with two-way adjustability that guarantees maximum stability and long-lasting, precise playability. Whether on the road or in the studio, with changing temperatures or extended playing time - the neck remains reliably adjustable and easy to play.
The Furch Blue OM-CM acoustic guitar has an open-pore finish, which works with a particularly thin layer of lacquer and deliberately leaves the natural wood pores open. This means that the acoustic potential of the solid wood is fully preserved - with noticeably more resonance, liveliness and warmth. The open-pored surface not only emphasizes the sound, but also the natural grain and feel of the tonewoods used.
Visual highlights include the imitation tortoiseshell binding, the fine rosette with walnut inlay and black and white line and the stylish pickguard with transparent extension towards the sound hole. These details give the instrument a classic, warm aesthetic with a timeless, high-quality look.
The ebony fingerboard with a radius of 400 mm in combination with the Furch Soft V-neck profile ensures a pleasant playing feel and secure handling in any position. The brushed frets emphasize the natural look and offer a comfortable feel without any annoying edges. White dot markings on the fingerboard and the side of the fingerboard ensure clarity, even in difficult lighting conditions.
With a scale length of 650 mm, a nut width of 45 mm and optional versions with 43 or 48 mm, the Blue OM-CM offers a high degree of adaptability to individual playing requirements. The D'Addario XSAPB1253 strings are optimally tuned to the sound characteristics of the guitar and bring out the depth and fullness of the instrument's sound.
The Furch Blue OM-CM acoustic guitar is an ideal partner for guitarists who are looking for a high-quality, solid-body instrument with an honest sound character and natural charisma. Whether as a first premium guitar, a reliable touring instrument or a powerful-sounding companion for everyday playing - this model impresses with its balanced price-performance ratio, acoustic strength and authentic design.
