The Furch Blue OM-SW acoustic guitar is an all-solid instrument that impresses with its high-quality wood selection, finely tuned construction and natural, elegant appearance. As part of the popular Blue series from Furch, this model combines a professional sound with an attractive price-performance ratio. The OM body shape (Orchestra Model) stands for balanced sound distribution, fast response and high playing comfort - ideal for fingerstyle, singer-songwriters and classical strumming.
Furch uses the finest AA-quality Sitka spruce for the top. The back and sides are made of solid black walnut, which gives the guitar its warm, balanced character with slightly accentuated mids. Thanks to the open-pore varnish, the natural resonance of the wood is fully retained - for a clear, lively sound with authentic dynamics.
The Furch Blue OM-SW acoustic guitar is a prime example of Furch's technical innovation. At its heart is the proven voicing process: Each individual top is individually tuned to its tonal characteristics in order to achieve an optimum ratio of volume, tonal balance, dynamics and structural stability. The result is a balanced, harmonically rich sound that is convincing both when playing quietly and in dynamic passages.
Another key feature is the CNR-System® - a revolutionary neck reinforcement system with two-way adjustment. It enables precise adjustments and ensures long-term stability of the neck, even in changing climatic conditions. This combination makes the Blue OM-SW a reliable companion for demanding musicians - in the studio, on stage or in the music room at home.
The surface of the Furch Blue OM-SW acoustic guitar is treated with an open-pore finish - an open-pored varnish that allows the wood to breathe and retains its natural resonance. This construction method makes a decisive contribution to the sound development and at the same time gives the instrument a warm, organic look with a noticeable wood texture.
The stylish visual details include the imitation tortoiseshell binding, the tasteful rosette with walnut inlay and a fine black and white line as well as a matching pickguard with a transparent extension towards the sound hole. The natural grain of the wood is shown to its best advantage under the matt finish - making each one unique.
The African mahogany neck with the ergonomic Furch Soft V-profile ensures a comfortable playing experience. The smooth, open-pored neck surface guarantees a non-slip grip even during long sessions. The ebony fingerboard with a radius of 400 mm in combination with the scale length of 650 mm provides an optimal basis for precise and expressive playing.
Other features such as the TUSQ nut with full compensation, ebony bridge pins, brushed fret surfaces and D'Addario XSAPB1253 strings ensure precise intonation, a clean response and balanced playing characteristics. The white dot position markings on the fingerboard and fingerboard side provide reliable orientation - especially on dark stages.
The Furch Blue OM-SW acoustic guitar is an expressive instrument with an independent character that will delight ambitious guitarists with its clear sound definition, high-quality components and natural, stylish appearance. Its balanced sound signature, robust construction and clear design make it an inspiring partner for any musical journey - whether in the studio, for songwriting or on stage.
