The Red SR is made of high-quality Sitka spruce for the top and Indian rosewood for the back and sides. The aesthetics of the tonewoods are accentuated by a resonance-enhancing high-gloss finish and a number of decorative highlights, most notably the koa binding and the high-quality rosette, the abalone inlay in the headstock and the mother-of-pearl fingerboard inlay. The guitar is delivered in an extremely durable, heat-insulated Hiscox case.

Unique voicing process

The premium character of the Red SR is emphasized by the fact that both the soundboard and the backplate are individually tuned using the voicing process, a technology developed by Furch that raises the guitar's tonal characteristics to the highest level.
