Description

The Red Deluxe SR represents the highlight of Furch's portfolio. This instrument features high-quality Sitka spruce on the top and Indian rosewood on the back and sides. Thanks to the combination of these materials and advanced manufacturing technologies, the result is a beautiful, versatile sound with clear and open highs. Both plates are complemented by the ergonomic bevel duo made of koa, which provides maximum comfort even during prolonged playing. The beauty of these tonewoods is accentuated by a resonance-enhancing high-gloss finish, as well as a number of decorative details such as the binding and premium rosette made of koa, the inlays made of abalone, and the Roman numerals made of mother-of-pearl on the fingerboard. The guitar comes in an extremely durable, heat-insulated Hiscox case.

Unique voicing process

The premium character of the Red Deluxe SR is underlined by the fact that both the soundboard and the backplate are individually tuned using the voicing process, a technology developed by Furch that raises the instrument's tonal characteristics to the highest level. As a result, the Red Deluxe SR has a crystal-clear, harmonically rich, balanced and highly dynamic sound across the entire tonal spectrum.

Resonance-enhancing finish

The instrument is protected by the patented Full-Pore High-Gloss finish, designed to enhance the guitar's tonal characteristics. The finish consists of an ultra-thin, highly resistant layer of lacquer that provides superior surface protection while highlighting the wood's texture.

Bevel Duo for added comfort

The ergonomic Bevel Duo feature, consisting of two bevels - one at the front, on the forearm, and one at the back, on the rib position, provides a significant increase in playing comfort and also enhances the exclusive look of the instrument. Bevel Duo is made of koa.

High quality tonewoods

The Red Deluxe SR is made of first-class tonewoods. The soundboard is made of Sitka spruce, which gives the guitar a wonderfully bright and open sound. The back and sides are made of Indian rosewood.
