Description

Furch offers with the Red Series a new top class of solid wood guitars, which is uncompromising in terms of materials and workmanship. Only high-quality alpine spruce was used for the top of the Red LR, while the back and sides are made of Indian rosewood. These tops are subjected to an innovative voicing process which, together with the material used, gives the instrument a beautiful, versatile sound with clear and open tones. The beauty of the tonewood is accentuated by a resonance-enhancing high-gloss finish and a number of decorative details, most notably the koa binding and premium rosette, the abalone purfling and headstock inlay, and the mother-of-pearl fretboard inlay. The guitar is shipped in an extremely durable, thermally insulated Hiscox case.

Unique voicing process

The premium character of the Red LR is underlined by the fact that both the top and the back are individually tuned using the voicing process, a technology developed by us that raises the tonal characteristics of the guitar to the highest level. As a result, the Red LR has a crystal clear, harmonically rich, balanced and highly dynamic sound across the entire tonal spectrum.

Resonance-enhancing finish

The instrument is protected with Furchs' proprietary Full Pore High Gloss finish, which is designed to enhance the guitar's tonal characteristics. The finish consists of an ultra-thin, highly resistant layer of lacquer that provides excellent surface protection while highlighting the wood's texture.

Furch CNR System Neck Construction

A high-precision, double-action truss rod provides neck stability and allows fine adjustment of neck relief on both sides. The truss rod is housed in a high-strength carbon body that provides very smooth and controlled neck relief, ensuring the best playability and a consistently optimal setup.
