With the Red Series, Furch presents a new series of high-quality solid wood guitars that make no compromises in terms of workmanship and components. The Red SR is made of fine Sitka spruce for the top and Indian rosewood for the back and sides. The beauty of the tonewood is emphasized by a resonance-enhancing high-gloss finish and a number of decorative details, most notably the koa binding and premium rosette, the abalone inlay in the headstock and the mother-of-pearl fingerboard inlay. The guitar is delivered in an extremely durable, heat-insulated Hiscox case.

Unique voicing process

The premium character of the Red SR is emphasized by the fact that both the soundboard and the backplate are individually tuned using the voicing process, a technology developed by Furch that raises the guitar's tonal characteristics to the highest level.
