Furch uses state-of-the-art processes such as the CNR System® for neck stabilization and a unique voicing process in which the top and back are individually tuned. The result is a sound that is both dynamic and clear and balanced - perfect for many styles from fingerstyle to singer-songwriter.
The solid top made of Sitka spruce in master-grade quality delivers a brilliant, open tone with excellent projection. Master-grade Indian rosewood was also used for the back and sides, giving the sound depth and warmth. The body is finished all around with a high-quality full-pore high-gloss finish, which not only provides an elegant look, but also has a positive effect on the acoustic resonance.
A highlight is the elaborately crafted binding made of koa with white edging strips, which is not only found on the body, but also on the fingerboard and headstock. The decorative details such as abalone inlays on the top, headstock and fingerboard as well as the premium rosette made of koa and abalone underline the luxurious character of the guitar.
The fingerboard made of strikingly grained Ziricote offers the best playability with a radius of 400 mm. The linear position markers on the side and the artistic mother-of-pearl inlay on the front ensure secure orientation. The neck profile in the typical Furch soft V-shape in combination with the full-pore smooth-slide satin finish ensures a comfortable playing feel, even during longer sessions.
