Description

The name Red means absolute top class among solid wood guitars, which are truly uncompromising in terms of materials and components. The body of the Red LC is made of high quality alpine spruce and cocobolo. In combination with the material used, the instrument gets a beautiful, versatile sound with clear and open nuances.

The beauty of the tonewood is accentuated by a resonance-enhancing high-gloss finish and a number of decorative details, notably the koa binding and high-quality rosette, the abalone inlay and headstock inlay, and the mother-of-pearl fingerboard inlay. The guitar comes in an extremely durable, heat-insulated Hiscox case.

Unique voicing process

The premium character of the Red LC guitar is emphasized by the fact that both the soundboard and the backplate are individually tuned using the voicing process, a technology developed by Furch that raises the guitar's tonal characteristics to the highest level. As a result, the Red LC guitar has a crystal clear, harmonically rich, balanced and highly dynamic sound across the entire tonal spectrum.

Resonance enhancing finish

The instrument is protected by our proprietary Full-Pore High-Gloss finish, designed to enhance the guitar's tonal qualities. The finish consists of an ultra-thin, highly resistant layer of lacquer that provides superior surface protection while highlighting the wood's texture.

Furch CNR System neck construction

A high-precision, double-action truss rod provides neck stability and allows fine adjustment of the neck relief on both sides. The truss rod is housed in a high-strength carbon body that provides very smooth and controlled neck relief, ensuring the best playability and a consistently optimal setup.
