The top of the Furch Red OMc-SR is made of first-class Sitka spruce (Master Grade), which is known for its outstanding combination of clarity, dynamics and response. The back and sides are made of fine Indian rosewood, also master grade - a tonewood that impresses with its broad frequency spectrum and warm depth. Together, these woods ensure a powerful, yet finely resolved tone with a rich overtone spectrum.
Particularly noteworthy is Furch's voicing process, in which both the top and back are individually sound-optimized. This process raises the acoustic potential of the guitar to a unique level - with crystal-clear definition, fine dynamics and excellent balance across all frequency ranges.
The African mahogany neck is made in the ergonomic Furch Soft-V shape and, in combination with the CNR System® neck joint, guarantees perfect stability and playability.
