Description

The Red Series represents the highest class of Furch guitars, which are truly uncompromising in terms of materials and components. The back and sides of the Red Pure LR are made of high-quality Alpine spruce and Indian rosewood. The tops are tuned using an innovative process which, in combination with the material used, gives the instrument a beautiful, versatile sound with clear and open tones. In addition to a resonance-enhancing satin finish, the beauty of the tonewood is emphasized by a number of decorative details, most notably a redheart purfling and a koa rosette, binding and position markers. The guitar is delivered in an extremely durable, heat-insulated Hiscox case.

Unique voicing process

The premium character of the Red Pure LR is underlined by the fact that both the soundboard and the back plate are individually tuned using the voicing process, a Furch proprietary technology that improves the tonal characteristics of the guitar to the highest level. This gives the Red Pure LR a crystal-clear, harmonically rich, balanced and highly dynamic sound across the entire tonal spectrum.

Resonance-enhancing satin finish

The body of the guitar is coated with an ultra-thin and even UV full-pore satin finish that Furch has developed to maximize the instrument's resonance characteristics while providing excellent protection. The basis of the finish is our high-gloss lacquer, the final layer of which we apply with a matte finish. This gives the guitar a beautiful, slightly matt appearance.

The beauty of exotic wood

The luxurious look of the Red Pure LR is enhanced by a combination of fingerboard, bridge and headstock overlay made from grained Ziricote. The body, headstock and fingerboard of the guitar are bound with koa with a white contrasting line, complemented by a body inlay made of Redheart. In addition to the binding, the ring rosette and the string ornamentation are also made of koa.
