The Furch Vintage 1 OM-SR acoustic guitar is the ideal choice for guitarists who want to combine a traditional design with state-of-the-art sound technology. This fully solid acoustic guitar combines high-quality materials such as Sitka spruce and Indian rosewood with an authentic vintage style and tonal precision. The model impresses with clear trebles, warm mids and a balanced bass foundation - perfect for anyone who values expression, depth and playing comfort.
Thanks to its classic OM body shape (Orchestra Model), the Vintage 1 OM-SR is ideal for fingerstyle playing techniques, as well as for chord accompaniment or dynamic strumming. The body is edged with stylish artificial ivory binding and has a full-pore vintage satin finish, which gives the instrument its elegant, matt-natural look and at the same time increases the sound resonance.
The Furch Vintage 1 OM-SR acoustic guitar benefits from Furch's innovative voicing process, in which each individual soundboard is individually tuned. Dynamics, structural rigidity, tonal balance and volume are perfectly matched. The result is a crystal-clear, nuanced sound with a natural, harmonious character that unfolds particularly vividly across the entire tonal spectrum.
The combination of Sitka spruce top (AA class) and solid rosewood sides and back ensures a powerful response, long sustain and a wide dynamic range. Whether in the studio, for songwriting or on stage - this model provides a musically inspiring foundation for all styles.
The appearance of the Furch Vintage 1 OM-SR is inspired by classic models, yet modern in every detail. The five-layer top ornamentation of contrasting black and white lines and the rosette with walnut inlay and fine black and white lines create subtle, elegant visual accents. The ivory-look binding gives the body a high-quality frame and underlines the traditional design language.
The natural grain of the woods used remains completely visible and tangible thanks to the thinly applied full-pore satin finish. The open-pore varnish allows the guitar to vibrate more freely, creating a particularly resonant sound - a real highlight both visually and acoustically.
The African mahogany neck with Furch's characteristic Soft V profile ensures a comfortable playing feel. The surface has a full-pore smooth-slide satin finish, which makes for particularly pleasant, non-slip playing. The ebony fingerboard with a radius of 400 mm offers precise control and fast response in every position.
The fingerboard markings consist of simple white dots on the front and sides - classic, clear and functional. Perfect intonation is ensured by a TUSQ nut with full compensation, an ebony bridge and matching ebony pins. The vintage-look Gotoh SE700 nickel-patina tuners guarantee precise tuning with a gear ratio of 1:15. D'Addario XSAPB1253 strings are used ex works - durable, powerful sounding and perfectly tuned.
The Furch Vintage 1 OM-SR acoustic guitar combines everything that discerning musicians expect from a high-quality acoustic instrument: fully solid construction, tonal depth, visual elegance and excellent playability. It is aimed at anyone who loves the classic look but doesn't want to do without modern sound technologies. The guitar is supplied in an extremely robust Hiscox hard case - for optimum protection when traveling and in everyday life.
