The Furch Vintage 1 OMc-SM LR Baggs EAS-VTC acoustic guitar combines classic guitar design with state-of-the-art manufacturing technology and a finely tuned sound. As part of the popular Vintage Series, this model impresses with a warm, balanced tone, natural aesthetics and professional stage and studio suitability. The combination of Sitka spruce top and African mahogany for the back and sides ensures an excellent tonal balance - with soft basses, present mids and brilliant highs.
With its vintage charm, which is reflected in the faux ivory, walnut and mother-of-pearl embellishments, the Vintage 1 OMc-SM is aimed at guitarists who want to combine classic style with modern reliability. Thanks to the built-in LR Baggs EAS-VTC pickup system, the guitar is ideal for live performances and professional recordings - with authentic, dynamic sound transmission.
Like all high-quality Furch instruments, the Vintage 1 SM is also manufactured using the company's own voicing process. The soundboard is individually tuned in order to bring out the sound characteristics of the top in the best possible way. The result is a crystal-clear, dynamic, harmonically rich sound that is convincing in both quiet and louder passages.
The surface of the guitar has a full-pore satin finish. This ultra-thin UV varnish is based on a high-gloss base, but is finished with a matt top layer. This ensures that the resonance of the wood is fully retained while at the same time providing excellent protection for the guitar. The matt finish also emphasizes the classic vintage look of the guitar.
The neck is made of African mahogany in the proven Furch Soft-V profile and ensures a pleasant feel and relaxed fingering in all positions. The CNR System® neck joint with double-action truss rod offers maximum stability and adjustability - an important feature for long-term playing precision. The ebony fingerboard and bridge offer high resonance and longevity.
Thanks to the Gotoh SE700 nickel tuners with 1:15 ratio, the guitar can be tuned sensitively and retains its tuning stability even under changing conditions. The TUSQ nut ensures precise intonation and clean string action. The guitar is fitted with Elixir Br Nanoweb 12-53 strings at the factory - durable, powerful sounding and comfortable to play.
With lovingly selected details such as the double-ring rosette with black walnut inlay, the ivory-look binding and subtle mother-of-pearl embellishments, the Vintage 1 SM remains stylish and classic at the same time. The Orchestra Model cutaway body shape not only offers comfortable handling, but also unrestricted access to the upper registers.
A robust, thermally insulated Hiscox hard case is included in the scope of delivery and reliably protects the instrument - whether on tour, in the studio or at home.
