To protect the Vintage 2 SR, the Vintage Finish is used, which is applied with the same technology and offers the advantages of UV coating as the patented Full-Pore High-Gloss Finish. Due to the manual polishing, the guitar acquires a pleasant patina reminiscent of traditional instruments. Combined with other features such as the green abalone rosette and faux ivory binding, the Vintage 2 SR's design breathes the flair of a noble antique instrument complemented by state-of-the-art construction technologies. Just like all other Vintage models, the guitar features a solid wood construction that combines a Sitka spruce top and Indian rosewood back and sides to produce a full, balanced sound.
