Description

The Genelec 7050C subwoofer is the perfect match for the 8010, 8020 and 8030 monitors, offering analog inputs and outputs up to 5.1 surround and handling bass management. The integrated crossover ensures that only frequencies above 85 Hz are passed on to the connected speakers. This reduces the load on the speakers in the bass range and allows them to deliver a higher resolution. The overall system also achieves a higher sound level. There is also an LFE input up to 120 Hz for surround sound.

The patented LSE design (laminar spiral enclosure) ensures powerful low bass without flow noise. The Class D power amplifier guarantees high power reserves without distortion. The important adjustment to the room acoustics is made via dip switches. The phase position can also be adjusted in this way. The automatic switch-off function saves energy efficiently as soon as there is no signal for a longer period of time. The 7050C also impresses with its compact dimensions and universal switching power supply.
