The MDE housing (minimum diffraction enclosure) made of aluminium with its rounded edges improves the frequency and radiation characteristics. The minimization of sound diffraction guarantees an excellent reproduction.
The groundbreaking DCW sound guide has been further optimized to ensure a precisely defined dispersion pattern. The result is a wider, more uniform listening zone with reduced sound coloration caused by early spatial reflections.
The flow-optimized bass reflex tunnel allows an extended frequency response at low frequencies, high sound pressure reserves and good bass response.
The safe positioning is achieved by means of integrated fixing points for floor stands and wall brackets on the rear wall and an additional M10 thread on the bottom of the housing.
The monitor automatically switches itself on when the audio signal is present due to the autostart function. After one hour without audio signal, the monitor returns to idle mode.
The rubber-rubber iso-pod base allows the speaker to be tilted to the listening position. Its decoupling function prevents sound coloration by transferring unwanted vibration to the footprint.
