The Gibson SG Standard is the latest version of a Gibson classic and offers everything guitarists love: a powerful sound and comfortable playability. The polished black finish conceals a mahogany body which, together with a mahogany neck, delivers a warm and assertive basic sound. The two 490 R and 490 T humbuckers provide the characteristic SG sound. The aluminum hardware with Tune-O-Matic bridge and tailpiece as well as the Grover tuners and the Graph Tech nut reliably hold the tuning. The SG Standard is supplied in a hard-wearing softshell case.
