With its Broad'Tron BT-3S humbuckers, chambered center block and Bigsby B70 vibrato, it offers an exceptional combination of vintage aesthetics and modern performance. Its deep blue Midnight Sapphire finish in combination with golden hardware makes it a real eye-catcher. Whether for blues, rock, jazz or country - this guitar delivers a rich, articulate sound and maximum playing comfort.
Gretsch has been one of the best-known brands for semi-hollow and hollow-body guitars for decades. The Streamliner series brings classic Gretsch designs to a modern and affordable format without sacrificing sound quality or playing comfort. The G2622TG Streamliner is a perfect example of this, combining traditional construction methods with new features for a flexible, inspiring playing experience.
The body of this guitar is made of laminated maple, which ensures a balanced timbre with brilliant highs and warm mids. The chambered center block helps to reduce unwanted feedback and improves sustain at the same time. This construction makes the guitar perfect for live performances and studio use, as the sound remains clear and differentiated even at higher volumes.
The double cutaway construction allows effortless access to the upper positions of the fingerboard, while the classic F-hole design contributes to the open, resonant sound characteristics not only visually but also sonically. The elegant Midnight Sapphire finish with aged white binding and multi-layered black and white B-piping gives the guitar a luxurious vintage look.
At the heart of the G2622TG Streamliner are the Broad'Tron BT-3S humbuckers, which cover a wide frequency range and provide a powerful, articulate tone. They deliver powerful bass, assertive mids and crystal-clear highs - ideal for everything from clean jazz chords to distorted rock riffs.
Thanks to the versatile electronics, numerous sound options are available. The guitar is equipped with three volume controls: volume for the neck and bridge pickups as well as master volume. There is also a master tone control and a push/pull coil split, which converts the humbuckers into single coils and thus offers even more tonal flexibility. The pickups can be used individually or combined via the 3-way switch.
The Bigsby B70 Vibrato provides smooth pitch modulations and gives the guitar the typical Gretsch vintage sound. It is ideal for subtle vibrato effects or striking pitch shifts. In combination with the Adjusto-Matic bridge, the guitar remains in tune even when used intensively.
The Nato neck with its soft C-profile offers a comfortable grip and is suitable for a wide range of playing techniques. The laurel fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and a radius of 12" (305 mm) enables effortless bending and comfortable chord playing. The pearloid big block inlays provide the classic Gretsch look, while the aged white binding gives the fingerboard a classy touch.
This guitar offers a perfect blend of traditional Gretsch design and modern features. Its powerful, versatile sound makes it suitable for a wide range of musical genres. The combination of Broad'Tron BT-3S pickups, Bigsby vibrato and a chambered center block provides excellent sound quality and control.
The stylish Midnight Sapphire finish with gold hardware also makes it a real eye-catcher on any stage. Whether for live performances, studio recordings or simply for practicing - with the Gretsch G2622TG Streamliner you have an instrument that impresses with elegance, power and outstanding playability.
