The body is made of mahogany with a carved solid maple top. This combination delivers balanced mids, rich lows and brilliant highs - ideal for powerful rock sounds, blues or clean picking parts. The ergonomically shaped contours and the rounded neck transition ensure a high level of playing comfort and perfect balance on the strap or on the lap.
The guitar is visually enhanced by the elegant Gloss Polyester finish in Duo-Tone Burst - a real eye-catcher with a classic flair.
The mahogany neck in the "Fast C" profile was developed for fast playability and a comfortable grip. Beginners or players with smaller hands in particular benefit from the flat, comfortable neck shape. The Indian Laurel fingerboard with 12" radius and medium jumbo frets offers reliable intonation, smooth bending and a good overview - ideal for any playing technique.
Thanks to the Graph Tech® NuBone™ nut and the innovative Pitch-Perfect™ headstock tilt, the tuning remains stable even during intensive sessions and the sustain is particularly long.
With two HotWire™ High Output Ceramic humbuckers, the Streamliner Jet delivers a wide sound spectrum - from crystal-clear clean sounds to aggressive overdrive. The bridge pickup with matched coils provides precise attack, while the neck pickup with hybrid coils offers a warm, round response. Ideal for rock, blues, indie or alternative.
Both pickups are wax-impregnated and therefore insensitive to ambient noise or microphony. The setup is controlled via a 3-way toggle switch and master volume / master tone control in the classic Gretsch radio knob style.
The Compensated Wrap-Around Bridge delivers sustain, solid intonation and easy string placement. Die-cast sealed tuners guarantee precise tuning, while vintage-style strap buttons and the split-V headstock give the instrument an unmistakable look.
