The selection ranges from Baroque to Romantic to modern etudes by contemporary composers. The degree of difficulty ranges from easy to moderately difficult. All 100 etudes were recorded live on the piano by Gerhard Kölbl and can be found as audio examples on the two enclosed CDs.
