The combination of a lightweight okoume body and a roasted maple neck with a maple fingerboard creates an open and dynamic sound.
The body of the guitar is made of okoume - a tonewood known for its balanced response and low weight. With a total weight of 3.41 kg, the ST-2CM offers a pleasant playing balance without sacrificing sonority. The neck made of roasted maple is stable, resistant to temperature and humidity fluctuations and, together with the fingerboard also made of roasted maple, offers a particularly direct response.
The modern "Thin C" neck profile and the 13.78" (350 mm) fingerboard radius ensure a high level of playing comfort, whether playing chords or fast lead passages. The 22 jumbo frets made of stainless steel guarantee precise intonation, durability and a pleasant playing feel across the board.
At the heart of the tonal versatility is the SSS configuration with Henry's SC-2RL REALOUD pickups. Three single coils deliver exactly the sound that characterized the tone of the 70s and 80s: clear, bright, assertive - but never shrill. These pickups offer a wide tonal palette, ranging from bell-like cleans to funky mids and biting leads.
The 5-way switching allows precise selection of all relevant pickup combinations. This allows different sounds to be called up intuitively - from classic Strat twang to finely graduated intermediate positions for rhythmic playing with character. The result: maximum expressiveness with minimum effort.
The technical features of the ST-2CM Felicity Red are also impressive across the board. The 6-saddle vintage-style tremolo offers smooth vibrato effects and reliable reset accuracy. The locking tuners guarantee stable tuning - even when the tremolo is used intensively. Thanks to integrated straplocks, the guitar remains securely and reliably fastened on stage.
