Powerful bass performance with DSP control

The HK Audio Linear 5 MKII 118 Sub A works as an active bass reflex subwoofer with a Class D power amplifier and an RMS output of 1000 W (2000 W peak). The maximum sound pressure reaches up to 131 dB SPL peak and ensures powerful low bass reproduction right into the low-end range.

The transmission range extends from 42 Hz (-6 dB) or 38 Hz (-10 dB) up to the set crossover frequency (X-Over).

Professional DSP equipment

The integrated DSP preamp with 48 kHz sample rate and a latency of less than 2 ms offers extensive control options. A fully parametric 10-band EQ with variable filter characteristics, low-pass filter, polarity, level, delay, limiter and mute enable precise system adjustments.

Easily selectable filter options such as front, cardioid 1:1 vertical, cardioid 1:1 horizontal or remote make system configuration much easier.

Remote and network capability

The subwoofer supports MILAN for digital audio transmission and can be controlled remotely via the HK Audio DSP CONTROL software (Windows, Mac OS).
