The body is based on the legendary Hofner Verythin guitar shape from 1960 and measures only 1.25 inches in depth. During the 1960s beat boom era, the Hofner Verythin proved to be an extremely attractive instrument for various bands. Not only does it offer that unique '60s sound, but it also has the ability to produce tones ranging from deep, powerful blues to cuttingly distorted rock. Hofner achieves this by incorporating a center block into the body for more sustain, deeper tones and less feedback. The CT model now features striped position markers on the neck, just like Hofner's original 1960s model. With a Hofner Verythin CT, you're sure to stand out from the crowd. It is truly a versatile guitar at a very affordable price.
