Solid rosewood body, selected fine grained spruce top. Ebony fingerboard, 52 mm nut width. The matte Höfner Green Line finish fires up the play of colors of the selected tonewoods and ensures optimal playability of the neck. The intricate wood inlays and open-pored, resonant finish are a testament to our masterful craftsmanship. The HM89 is available with a shortened scale length of 63cm (HM89-S-0). The special bracing of the cutaway model guarantees a sound volume that could not be achieved in this design before. Electronics: the cutaway version (CE) includes the built-in active Höfner / Mi-Si® pickup system.
