The Hughes & Kettner StompMan is a complete, high-class guitar amp in the format of a floor effects unit. In addition to amazing volume reserves, it offers professional basic sound qualities based on the Hughes & Kettner 'Spirit Tone Generator' technology. StompMan was developed to optimally stage upstream or looped-in effect devices. Together with the numerous connection options, this makes the StompMan a high-quality basis for any pedalboard or simply an ingenious always-on amp.

Power & Tone

At the heart of StompMan is Hughes & Kettner's award-winning 'Spirit Tone Generator' technology, a fully analog circuit with the tone and feel of traditional tube amps. StompMan delivers a wide range of sought-after clean and overdrive sounds and, in combination with external effects, is the substantial basis for modern power sounds.

Ultra Response power amp

An extraordinary feature of the StompMan is the built-in power amplifier, which delivers up to 50 watts depending on the impedance of the connected speakers. Even the 12.5 watts at 16 ohms provide an amazingly assertive performance that is sufficient for most rehearsal room and stage situations. The adjustable solo function boosts the output power by up to 6 dB at the touch of a button - perfect for solos or special accents in the arrangement.

A fully-fledged amp on your pedalboard

StompMan was developed to bring out the sound qualities of upstream ground effects. There is also an adjustable effects loop for looping in reverb or echo effects. The built-in preamp can be bypassed to connect external preamps, and a trim pot enables the best possible adjustment. Digital modelers in particular can benefit from the organic sound of the StompMan power amp. StompMan offers a wealth of application possibilities: As the powerful sounding heart of high-quality pedalboards, as a substance-generating power amp with analog or digital preamps, in recording and reamping or simply as an ingenious always-on amp.
