Power & Tone

At the heart of StompMan is Hughes & Kettner's award-winning 'Spirit Tone Generator' technology, a fully analog circuit with the tone and feel of traditional tube amps. In doing so, StompMan delivers a wide range of desirable clean and overdrive sounds and, when used in conjunction with external effects, is the substantial foundation for modern power sounds.

Ultra Response power amp

An extraordinary feature of the StompMan is the built-in power amplifier, which, depending on the impedance of the connected speakers, can deliver up to 50 watts. Even the 12.5 watts at 16 ohms provide an amazingly assertive performance that is sufficient for most rehearsal room and stage situations. The adjustable Solo function boosts the output power by up to 6 dB at the push of a button - perfect for solos or special accents in the arrangement.

A full-fledged amp on your pedalboard

StompMan is designed to bring out the best in the sound qualities of upstream ground effects. In addition, an adjustable effect loop is available for looping in reverb or echo effects. The built-in preamp can be bypassed for connecting external preamps; a trim pot allows the best possible adjustment. Especially digital modelers can benefit from the organic sound of the StompMan power amp. StompMan offers a wealth of possible applications: As the sonorous heart of high-quality pedalboards, as a substance-generating power amp with analog or digital preamps, in recording and reamping, or simply as an ingenious always-on amp.
