The Ibanez AR520HME-NT combines classic design with modern functionality and versatility. As part of the time-honored AR series, it builds on one of Ibanez’s first original designs and impresses with its timeless look, high-quality components, and flexible sound options. Whether for vintage enthusiasts or modern guitarists, this semi-hollow guitar offers a rich, warm tone and comfortable playability.
The three-piece maple neck is set and features a smooth heel, which facilitates access to the higher frets while ensuring stability and resonance. The inlaid jatoba fingerboard delivers excellent tonal balance thanks to its full midrange and clear highs. Precise fingering and clear articulation are guaranteed thanks to the medium-sized frets with clean finish.
The body combines various high-quality tonewoods: a premium Makassar ebony top, an okoumé back, and a maple frame. This combination produces a full, balanced tone with brilliant highs, prominent mids, and rich lows. The glossynaturalpolyurethane finish highlights the wood’s distinctive grain and gives the guitar an elegant look.
The guitar is equipped with two Ibanez Super 58 humbuckers, known for their warm, vintage-oriented tone with moderate output. The two Tri-Sound switches allow each humbucker to be switched between three modes (serial, parallel, coil-tap), enabling an impressive range of tones from single-coil-like sounds to fat humbucker tones.
The Gibraltar Performer Bridge, with its solid construction, ensures maximum tuning stability and sustain, while the Quik Change Classic Tailpiece makes changing strings particularly quick and convenient.
