High-quality materials and continuous neck construction

The okoume body with a burl poplar top provides a warm sound base with clear highs and defined mids. The full-length 5-piece neck made of maple and walnut is equipped with graphite reinforcement rods, which provide stability and excellent resonance. The fingerboard made of panga panga with abalone dots rounds off the construction perfectly in terms of sound and appearance.

Multi-scale design for optimum playability

The multiscale scale from 35.5" to 34" offers balanced string tension and improves intonation, especially at low frequencies. With 24 stainless steel medium frets and a zero fret, the bass offers a precise feel and consistent sound quality across the entire fretboard.

Powerful electronics and flexible tone control

The BTB605MS-MAM is equipped with two T1 humbucker pickups that deliver a powerful and versatile sound. The Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ allows precise sound adjustments with controls for volume, balance, bass, middle and treble. The EQ bypass switch provides additional flexibility with the ability to switch to passive tone control. A 3-way mid-frequency switch enables even more detailed sound shaping.

The MR5S bridge and Ibanez tuners ensure excellent tuning stability and easy adjustment.
