The Ibanez BTB945-COL 5-string electric bass from the BTB series combines innovative design, high-quality materials and modern electronics. With its full-length neck construction, extra long scale and powerful Nordstrand Big Single Coils, this bass offers exceptional sound quality and playability. The elegant Cosmic Blue Low Gloss finish makes it a visual highlight on any stage.
The body is made from a combination of okoume and ash center section, complemented by an eye-catching Poplar Burl top. This choice of materials ensures a balanced sound with powerful mids and defined highs. The 5-piece maple and walnut neck is fitted with graphite reinforcement rods for stability and longevity.
The rosewood fingerboard offers a smooth surface, while the 400 mm (15.75") fingerboard radius and the 35" scale length guarantee optimum string tension and playability. The zero fret and the 24 medium stainless steel frets ensure an even sound quality across the entire fretboard.
The Nordstrand Big Single Coils in the neck and bridge position deliver a powerful, detailed sound. The Ibanez Custom electronics with 3-band EQ enable precise sound shaping with controls for volume, balancer, bass, mids and treble. The EQ bypass switch offers additional flexibility by allowing you to switch between active and passive operation. The MR5S bridge and Ibanez tuners ensure excellent intonation and tuning stability.
The Cosmic Blue Low Gloss finish gives the BTB945-COL a modern, stylish look. The black hardware complements the design perfectly and underlines the high-quality workmanship of the instrument.
