Description

The K5 Bass is a new, exciting offshoot of the Ibanez electric bass series. In addition to its sleek, cool design, the K5 features high-quality craftsmanship and the popular Ibanez bass sound. Equipped with a special 5-piece maple/walnut neck, the bass features excellent stability, while a Jatoba fingerboard and an Eb-7 bridge, which is very light due to an aluminum base plate, give the K5 a really good playing feel. The two IBZ ADX5N pickups really give the bass its soul, delivering an unlimited arsenal of hellish, inspiring bass tones. A Vari-mid 3-band EQ allows for manual adjustment with special attention to the mids, as Fieldy, the artist to whom the K5 is dedicated, always performs with greatly reduced mids. The Hipshot tuning machines also give the bass incredible tuning stability.
