The MM7 is the new top of the line MM series from Ibanez. Equipped with the latest technology, the guitar delivers a wonderful, rich sound with many features that are especially attractive to professional players. The MM7 features two Seymour Duncan Hyperion 7 humbucker pickups. The two humbuckers in combination with the "dyna-MIX 10 Switching System with Alter-Switch" deliver a versatile sound with up to 10 different sounds and can also produce a realistic single-coil sound through the "Power Tap Mode". By connecting the pickups with ALnico-5 magnets, the clarity of the basic sound is maintained even during a distortion sound to deliver a clean pick attack. The Gotoh T1872S tremolo bridge, along with machined titanium tailpieces and a steel tremolo block, gives the guitar a fast response with voluminous lows and rich highs. While an "S-TECH WOOD" toasted maple fingerboard with rounded fingerboard edges not only provides a balanced tone with rich sustain, but also excellent playability. The oil finish of the "Oval C S-TECH WOOD" toasted maple neck gives the neck a "played-in" feel and has increased wood stability, water resistance and tolerance to temperature changes thanks to the S-Tech treatment. Luminescent side dots on the guitar neck allow you to navigate the fretboard even in the deepest darkness. Not to forget the modern "Gotoh MG-T" Locking Machine Heads, which have an incredible tuning stability and set a new standard for the industry.
