The five-piece Wizard III neck made of panga panga and walnut is flat, fast and offers a reliable basis for technically demanding playing thanks to its stable construction. The extra deep cutaways allow effortless access up to the highest positions of the fingerboard. The setup is complemented by a fingerboard made of Macassar ebony, which with its dense material delivers a fast response, powerful mids, tight basses and brilliant highs. The jumbo frets facilitate clean articulation and are a real advantage, especially when playing solo.
The body of the RGD621AH is made of solid okoume wood, which is known for its warm, resonant tone. The ash top provides additional clarity and visual depth: the Midnight Shade Flat finish ensures a modern, understated elegance. In terms of sound, the guitar delivers an enormous range - ideal for modern metal sounds with clear definition and aggressive presence.
At the heart of the sound transmission are the DiMarzio® Fusion Edge pickups, developed in collaboration with Ibanez. They stand for a modern sound with tight bass response, assertive mids and crystal-clear highs - perfect for distorted riffs, breakdowns or leads with sharpness and definition. The integrated coil tap switch allows you to adjust the sound character of the pickups and opens up additional sound variations for clean passages or dynamic mixes.
The Gotoh® MG-T Locking Tuner System ensures maximum tuning stability, while at the same time enabling fast and smooth string changes. The Gibraltar Standard III bridge with optimized construction offers high playing comfort, ergonomic support and perfect vibration transmission. It also ensures long sustain and a solid tone even with high distortion. Orientation on dark stages is facilitated by Luminlay Side Dots - a practical feature for live performers.
