With the RGT1221PB-DTF, Ibanez delivers an exciting 6-string electric guitar with outstanding exemplarity and multi-faceted sound. Selected elements such as an American basswood body, "Gotoh MG-T" tuners, neck-through neck-body construction and a mono-rail bridge assure special longevity of the instrument, while the easy-access "Wizard III" guitar neck composed of 7-piece maple/walnut with Satin Polyurethane finish and the ebony fingerboard assure a unique playing feel. The stainless steel frets offer excellent corrosion resistance. The "wide and tall" fret type provides quick response and effortless articulation when playing chords and a clear tone when playing single notes. The premium fret edge treatment also ensures exceptionally smooth, comfortable performance. Thanks to the Gotoh MG-T locking machine heads, you'll achieve incredible tuning stability and benefit from shorter string change times, while the unique dyna-MIX 10 switching system allows for a total of ten sound variations. The mini-switch lets you easily switch between humbucker and single-coil modes. The power tap mode provides a realistic single-coil sound, even though it is equipped with two humbucker pickups.
