The ICON MicU ProDrive III audio interface is a versatile audio input and output module with USB connection that offers numerous features. With a sampling rate of 24-bit and 96/192KHz, it enables professional quality recording and playback.

The interface has a microphone input and two analog outputs. The DAC (digital-to-analog converter) offers an impressive signal-to-noise ratio with a THD+N value of -100dB and a dynamic range of 114dB. The ADC (analog-to-digital converter) also offers high sound quality with a THD+N value of -98dB and a dynamic range of 112dB.

The ICON MicU supports full-duplex recording and playback with 2×2 analog inputs and outputs. With the ICON "ProDrive III" internal virtual routing, inputs and outputs can be flexibly configured. The powerful ProDrive III hosting rack is already integrated and allows the use of various ProDrive III plug-ins.

On the top of the MicU there is a master volume control as well as a headphone output with individual volume control. The Direct Monitoring switch can be used to switch between "Stereo, Mono, and PC" sources, and there is a separate volume control for monitoring.

The MicU's channel routing feature allows flexible routing of audio signals via the software control panel. In addition to the ProDrive III hosting rack, several ProDrive III plug-ins are included to expand the creative possibilities of the interface.
