The IK Multimedia ToneX Board is fully compatible with all TONEX AI tone models. Users can choose from over 60,000 tone models on ToneNET and use up to four tone models simultaneously within a single preset. Each signal path can include one amp model and one stompbox model.

It supports 24-bit/192 kHz audio, a dynamic range of 123 dB, and a frequency response of 5 Hz to 24 kHz. Custom impulse responses can be used via the user-defined IR Loader, and IK VIR Cabinet technology is also integrated.
The IK Multimedia ToneX Board is highly versatile in terms of connectivity. It offers mono/stereo input, stereo FX send/return, two stereo outputs via XLR, two stereo outputs via 6.3-mm jack, MIDI In/Out, two expression/control inputs, a headphone output, USB-C, and a power supply connector.
The stereo FX loop can also be used as two mono loops. This allows the device to be flexibly integrated into existing setups. Additionally, the ToneX Board is compatible with TONEX Librarian and existing TONEX presets. The package includes TONEX 2 MAX and AmpliTube 5 MAX.
