With the Jackson® JS Series Concert™ Bass Minion JS1X, it's not just young bass players who find it easy to get started. Adult players can also have real fun with the petite bass and its player-friendly 28.6" scale length. On the poplar body (tulip tree, similar to poplar) sits a bolt-on maple neck with graphite rods and a slightly backward-sloping headstock. The amaranth fingerboard has a 12" radius and is fitted with 22 jumbo frets, with shark fin inlays made of pearloid shimmering in between.

The sound is provided by a Jackson P style neck pickup and a Jackson J style bridge pickup. As a result, this four-string develops an enormously versatile bass tone that can be tamed with two volume controls and a tone control. The strings run over Jackson tuners and a hardtail bridge with a black base plate.
