Full length three-piece maple neck construction.
True neck-through-body construction has been a Jackson trademark since 1980 and allows for better playability, a warmer sound spectrum, and better sustain. This method of guitar construction uses three pieces of maple wood for the neck, running seamlessly through the entire length of the body. Reinforcing bars of graphite flanking the truss rod provide even more neck stability to help the instrument withstand the rigors of the road.
